In my experience after a ewe lambs and the lambs need shelter in wintery conditions they can be placed inside the lamb box and given a chance to revive and the ewe can be put into the sheep cage. The lamb box has 2 sections in it one section is a bedded area for lambs and the other section is for veterinary products such as gloves, penicilen, sryinges, marking spray and feet cutters etc as i find its nice to have a dry area to put these in, and that they are always at hand if needed.
By removing the middle dividing sheet the lamb box can be used as one big box so that bigger objects can be fitted if needed. Dual purpose.
The lamb box is totally made out of aluminum chequer plate so its very light and strong and will last for ever.
The Lamb box is attached to the back bale rack by using 4 bolts and 2 flate plates with treaded holes which clamps the box to the bars of the bale rack. Very simple.
